Black Friday 2026: the dates we know so far

Walmart and Best Buy have put dates on the calendar. Amazon has a holiday hub, but its full US sale schedule is still missing from the announcement we checked.

What about Amazon, eBay and Target?

Amazon: its US Black Friday FAQ confirms the calendar dates and points to early holiday shopping. The FAQ still asks readers to check back for details; it does not yet give the full US event window or specific Black Friday prices.

eBay: we have not verified a 2026 Black Friday sale calendar. Its current November 2–8 refurbished coupon is a separate promotion, not a confirmed Black Friday event.

Target: the official savings-events page we checked does not give exact 2026 Black Friday dates.

What Amazon did last year

Amazon’s 2025 US events ran November 20–December 1, with new deals dropping during the sale.

Its 2025 roundup advertised up to 50% off select JBL wireless on-ear headphones. That was a 2025 offer, not a price available now.

Our take for 2026: start watching before Black Friday, then compare new drops as they arrive. Last year’s timing is a useful reminder, not confirmation of this year’s dates, models or discounts.

Products worth keeping on your list

NIQ’s holiday research names headphones, laptops and smartphones among planned tech gifts, alongside video games, building kits, puzzles and board games. That is shopping intent, not a live bestseller list.

  • Headphones and laptops: compare the exact model, storage and seller. Older versions can make a headline discount look larger than it is.
  • Video games: check platform, edition and region before comparing prices. A base game and a deluxe edition are different offers.
  • Home and gifts: keep an eye on Walmart and Target’s actual listings. A useful price on something you need beats a large discount on something you do not.

These are categories to watch. We are not predicting which products will go on sale or promising a lower price later.

Where to check next

Before buying anywhere, compare the final delivered price, seller, condition and returns. Save the exact model number now so November’s offers are easier to judge.
